Am I going to make that green light?
How bad is the weather?
What’s for dinner again?
Did I pack my snack today?

With our busy lives, our minds can get pretty restless. The other day, I found myself running late, and I left my house with no proper food or snacks. If only I had packed the night before.
We all have our perfect on-track days and not-so-perfect ones, but I wanted more accountability and knowledge, so I started seeing a nutrition counselor.
At first, I was apprehensive that this would even work. I had never tried counseling before, and I wasn’t sure if it was for me, but I figured at this point, I would give it a try. Turns out, my family and close friends who encouraged me to take the step were right. Going to a nutrition counselor was perfect for me for a variety of reasons.

Accountability and Knowledge
When you are held accountable, it’s less likely that you will give up. Nutrition counselors provide accountability, which has a significant impact on your success. In addition, when you are doing it alone, you probably run into all kinds of different questions. Can I eat this? Is this approved? With which meal do I start if I overslept? Those are just a few questions, and with the help of the nutrition counselor, you will be able to get the answers. Your journey will be positive and effective with their help.

Motivation
Everyone has a few bumps along the way. It’s easy to get discouraged when you don’t see the progress you might like. However, with the support of your nutrition counselor, you’ll be able to keep pushing to reach your goal.
Actions
What’s your next action? A nutrition counselor will help you with your next steps. Whether you’ve reached your goal or still need to reach your goal, the counselor will give you the necessary tips to continue.
