Recipe of the Week: Veggie Burgers Made Simple

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup zucchini, shredded 
  • 1 cup black beans (rinsed and drained)
  • 6 tablespoons ground flax
  • ½ teaspoon steak seasoning 

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, add all ingredients. Mash ingredients with a fork until well blended. Let mixture sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Divide into two equal parts and form burgers.
  3. Grill until browned on each side. 

Makes 2 large burgers. 

Count each burger as a complete protein.
