Tanya’s Tip of the Week: It’s Not About The Amount

Some people are worried about the amounts they eat, having been conditioned to associate ‘lots of food’ with being unsuccessful at dieting. 

Some simply require larger quantities of food to fill them. This is NOT “bad”, you just don’t want to keep eating for the sake of eating, nor do you want to get sick from overeating.

Needed quantities vary per person. The goal is to give yourself a chance to feel full.  Make sure you are drinking lots of water to eliminate fake hunger and also remember that it takes 20 minutes for your brain to send a fullness signal.
