Tanya’s Tip of the Week: Did Someone Say Meatballs?

Meatballs typically have ingredients that add a lot of calories and fat and are cooked in oil, but you can make “slimmer” versions that are just as delicious! Make them with ground turkey instead. Incorporate chopped and diced veggies like onion, garlic, parsley, mushrooms, etc. You can bake them with oil spray. You can use whole wheat bread crumbs or make your own. Either way, this is a great opportunity to switch it up and make it healthier.
