Tanya’s Tip of the Week: 4-Minute Corn on the Cob

It can be tricky to cook corn to perfection, and tedious to peel the corn silk, but I’ve found an amazing method! Just toss your whole corn into the microwave, husk, and all. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Use a towel to handle it because it will be HOT. Then cut off the bottom end right through the husk and squeeze the top end for the corn to slide out clean and perfectly cooked!

Tips: *This method is for corn that is still in the husk.

*Make sure to apply the method shortly after the corn is done cooking. If it cools off, the silk may not slide off as easily.

*If the corn doesn’t slide out, you may need to cut a little more off the end.
