Exercise sharpens your memory.
Regular physical activity boosts memory and the ability to learn new things. Getting sweaty increases production of cells in the hippocampus, the part of the brain which is responsible for memory and learning. This is why fitness is encouraged starting from a young age. If you ever start feeling that you can’t process information as well as you used to when you were younger, it’s because your general body activity has decreased. This doesn’t mean you have to sign up to a gym and start become a body builder to get your memory back, a few simple physical exercises can get you right back to square one. A great way to start would be to get out of your chair once every hour or so and walk a few laps around your office, or do some stretches in place. Anything to get your blood circulation back to its regular speed.
