4 Mango Swirbie pods
4 Cortland apples peeled, cored, and chopped
¾ cup water
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- In a saucepan, combine apples, water, and cinnamon. Cover, and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are soft.
- Add Swirbie pods and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Allow to cool, then mash with a fork or potato masher.
Makes 4 servings. Count each serving as a fruit.
