Tanya’s Tip of the Week: Vitamin D

Not everyone realizes that vitamin D is important for your bones, immune system, and more!

Your body naturally produces vitamin D from sun exposure, but if you’re not getting enough, you can incorporate more salmon, trout, tuna, mushrooms, sardines, cod liver oil, and eggs into your diet.

You can also opt for fortified foods to which vitamin D may be added like milk, orange juice, yogurt, cereal, cheese, and more. Just check the labels to be sure which are fortified with vitamin D.
