Tanya’s Tip of the Week: Ingredients

We take so much time and care to make sure foods are kosher and to establish if they’re meat, dairy or pareve, yet we have so much difficulty turning the bag or container around to scan the ingredients. 

You’ll be surprised how many additives, preservatives, and overall unhealthy ingredients foods contain. To make it easy, remember that the ingredients are listed by how much of it is in the product, from high to low, so if the first few ingredients are junk, better to stay away. And if you find yourself reading a megillah of ingredients you can’t even begin to pronounce, also better to stay away.

Stick to those first few being REAL, NATURAL & HEALTHY.
