Tanya’s Tip of the Week: Healthy Carbs

Carbs are a necessary part of a healthy diet as they are the body’s main source of energy. That doesn’t mean eat a pot of pasta before raiding a bakery though. 

What you’re looking for are healthy carbs, otherwise known as whole carbs; as opposed to refined carbs.

To get the best out of your carb intake, go for whole grains, low-fat milk products, fruits, starchy vegetables, and legumes.
