But the weight loss is a by-product of your body’s inability to retain food and/or lack of desire to eat altogether. Additionally, the initial weight loss is water weight. Fact is, we NEED food to be healthy no matter what. And when we’re ill, we need food and fluids that much more. So during this cold season, make sure to drink plenty of water and tea, and stick to foods your body can process.
