Thanksgiving Dinner Is Too Fattening
Depends. A traditional feast will include loads of oil, sugar, and other ingredients that can be minimized or avoided altogether. Turkey is a healthy and fantastic protein, just stick to white meat. Stuffing can be made with Pam Spray and loads of veggies. If you need to add bread, make it whole-wheat and keep to a minimum of slices. Use sugar-free jam or unsweetened applesauce instead of cranberry sauce. Try mashed cauliflower in place of mashed potatoes.
Bottom line, it CAN be a healthy feast.
