Myth: Orange juice is good for you
Fact: While a glass of orange juice does indeed contain vitamin C, it doesn’t outweigh the fact that orange juice is loaded with sugar.
A single 12 ounce cup of orange juice contains 9 teaspoons of sugar, the same as a can of Coke! This equates to 36 grams of carbs which is half of your daily allowance!
So if you’re concerned about vitamin C, you can get plenty of it from leafy vegetables or even a multivitamin.
