This is a MYTH!
In actuality, by starving yourself throughout the day or eating incorrectly and minimally, you’re setting yourself up to overeat at night. When your diet is poor and irregular, you cause transitions in your blood sugar that can even cause you to wake up at night with cravings.
There are all sorts of factors that can cause nighttime eating including hormones and environment, and some studies show that midnight binging can be genetic too! Hopefully, it’s just a matter of proper dieting, so start by applying a healthy diet and lifestyle, which will help regulate your food intake, hunger, and cravings.
