While I would recommend many other alternatives to taffy as it is full of sugar and empty calories, you absolutely can have taffy on your plan as a treat. If you would like a more filling treat, however, opt for a protein bar instead. While protein bars also contain sugar, most are packed with protein goodness that will keep you fuller for longer while still satisfying that sweet tooth.
