This is actually a myth but while it won’t kill you, it can certainly cause discomfort.

See, apples contain a lot of fiber. That’s what makes you feel full which is one of the reasons why it’s a staple in any healthy eating program however, too much fiber can cause gas and diarrhea and it can reduce your body’s ability to absorb vitamins and nutrients.
