Ingredients:

  • 3 crushed whole-wheat matzahs
  • ½ cup coarsely chopped almonds
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons light-brown sugar substitute
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt
  • ½ cup chopped dried fruit

 

Instructions:

  1. Stir together matzahs, almonds, oil, sugar, honey and salt.
  2. Spread evenly on a rimmed baking sheet. 
  3. Bake at 300°F, stirring every 10 minutes until toasted (25 to 30 minutes). 
  4. Let cool. Break into smaller pieces. Stir in dried fruit.
