Holding tension while working out can be extremely painful and dangerous. 

Breathing not only releases that tension, but when you’re focused, it also allows you to push further. That focus on breathing also gives you the chance to relax and become more physically efficient because you’re pinpointing a repeating action within your routine. Remember that breathing and releasing the stress that you are holding in your body is very important! 

Let your shoulders drop, un-clench your hands and jaw, and most importantly, take a deep breath.
