School is in session, and a great way to keep those young geniuses active is to encourage them to walk to school.

Of course, don’t send them on a 10-mile journey, but if school or activities and friends are within walking distance, they can enjoy a nice and healthy walk to get there. Throw on a pair of sneakers yourself and join them. Not only will you be promoting healthy habits for your children, but you’re doing the same for yourself.
