Fitness Tips by Tanya: Don’t RUN, Just WALK!

Running is great however, not everyone can nor does everyone LIKE to run. Running can also have a huge impact on your knees among other things when not done properly. 

Walking is much simpler and easier on the body. When you’re going anywhere within walking distance, choose walking over driving or taking public transportation. Aside from doing your part to keep the air we breathe a little cleaner, walking may help with weight maintenance, lung, and heart fitness, lowering blood pressure, strengthening muscles, and more. PLUS, you get to see more places, things, and people!
