Hot baths can ease achy muscles, relieve congestion, may relieve headaches, and improve heart health, blood circulation, and sleep among other things. PLUS, hot baths may burn calories. A small study showed about 140 calories burned during a 1 hour, hot bath. Unfortunately, it’s not much and more studies need to be conducted BUT combined with the many other benefits, you may want to consider shutting out the world for an hour from time to time to enjoy some bubbles and relaxation.
