Clients often ask what they can do to make their journey to better health, smoother and quicker.

Although there is no such thing as a quick fix, there is something you can do that will help you see not only those pounds come off, but the inches as well.

EXERCISE is a fundamental necessity for our bodies. It not only speeds up metabolism and weight loss, but it can also boost immunity and improve your mood by increasing serotonin levels.

People often see exercise as either a self-torturous method of health or something for which they cannot seem to find time (I don’t believe that, but that’s for another time!). Research shows that despite common belief, any movement is actually beneficial for the body. There are so many slight changes you can make throughout your day that can make more of a difference than you realize. You might even find your body craving those few little boosts after a while!

Some additions you can incorporate into your everyday life:

  • Taking the stairs
  • Walking those extra 2 blocks from the car
  • Walking over to your coworker instead of calling their extension or emailing them from across the office
  • Taking a 20-minute brisk walk
  • Now that summer is coming, use it to your advantage! Ride bikes with your kids for a half hour or play a round of ball with them.
